In July 2008, a mysterious corpse washed ashore in Montauk Waves, a district in New York. The discovery was soon made headlines in many major media in America. The identity of the animal is still the subject of controversy and debate. Now, after almost a year, a mysterious corpse like the Montauk carcass on the coast of Long Iceland stranded in New York.
For those who have never heard of the Montauk Monster, here is her story:
On 23 July 2008, a local newspaper in Montauk, reports The Independent that a local resident named Jenna Hewitt (26 years) with three friends find a strange creature on the 12th July at Ditch Plains Beach, 2 miles from the district. Hewitt said: "We are looking for a place to sit, when we pushed some people to see something that we saw ... we do not know what it is ..." Hewitt has a few photos of these creatures.
Another witness said the carcass was about as big as a cat. The speculation is always mentioned that the carcass is a turtle without a shell. In the meantime completed Larry Penny, director of East Hampton Natural Resources that the carcass of a Rakon, the maxilla is lost. This conclusion is supported by some scholars like Jeff Corwin and Darren Naish. The speculation was further mentioned that the creature is a creature of experimental results from the Plum Iceland Animal Disease Center. During the Iceland Plum Animal Disease Center concluded that the carcass was a dog boxer, is mutilated.
To keep the witnesses who saw somehow agreed to a secret place of the discovery of the carcass. The only source is a photograph taken by Hewitt. Montauk Monster name first given by the famous Kriptozolog Loren Coleman. Since then, the Montauk Monster Worldwide.
